Once Upon a Time...

Andersen said the quiet girls were royalty
and the outspoken, bitches,

but really,

the Princesses and the Witches are one.

They walk around in glass slippers
and wear red lips,

make a difference

and then walk away.

At night, when the world sleeps
they go to their towers
sucking on bottles of white.

With their hair in their faces
they curse

and curse,

cursing at men, society and their step-mothers.

Then in the morning,
they go back to their roles

painted lips, costumes and all.
